Then you need a recent ultrasound (&lt; 1 week). Make sure you have this ready. We will ask you for your FL value and BPD value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Treatment of pregnancies of 18 weeks or more are only performed at Bloemenhove Clinic in Haarlem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"younger-than-16\">Younger than 16<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are younger than 16, you need permission (in writing) of one of your parents or your legal guardian to have an abortion. If that is impossible, please contact our clinic. We will help you out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"appointment-cancellation\">Appointment cancellation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you want to cancel or reschedule your appointment? Please let us know as soon as possible, by phone or email, so we can give your appointment to another woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"your-clinic-visit-alone-or-accompanied\">Your clinic visit: alone or accompanied?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s great if someone can come with you. You may come with one companion to the clinic. This could be your partner, a friend or a family member. It is up to you if you want this person to be present at the doctor\u2019s consultation. First, the doctor will want a quick word with you on your own, to make sure the abortion really is your decision. The person accompanying you is not allowed to be present during the treatment or in the recovery room. No children are allowed at the clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there is no one to accompany you and you are finding it hard to go to your appointment on your own, you can choose an abortion buddy. An abortion buddy is a volunteer who will accompany you to the clinic.
