You have discussed abortion options. Your patient can make an appointment directly in our clinic. A referral is no longer mandatory. If you do want to write your patient a referral, you can give it to her or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloemenhove.nl\/en\/contact\/\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow\">mail or fax<\/a> it directly to us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button alignleft\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloemenhove.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/Referral-letter-BB-en-SAA-EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download the referral letter<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"mandatory-consideration-period-in-the-netherlands\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Which treatment?<\/strong><br>At our clinics, women with pregnancies up to 9 weeks, can choose the abortion pill (medical abortion) or suction curettage\/vacuum aspiration . For pregnancies between 9 and 12 weeks, the abortion always consists of suction curettage. Pregnancies between 13 and 22 weeks are terminated through surgical abortion. Abortion between 18 and 22 weeks is only performed at Bloemenhove Clinic Haarlem. On this website your patient can find more information about all the treatments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cost?<\/strong><br>For patients who are insured on te base of the Long-term Care Act (WLZ), the treatment is free. A patient is entitled to WLZ if she has Dutch health insurance or pays tax (demonstrable with two payslips from the last two months prior to treatment).
